Cordelia has dogs on the brain today. She said that dogs can understand people but we can't understand dogs because we don't speak dog. Only Mary Poppins can understand dogs because she's magic.

She also drew the analogy between people who can speak and people who cannot as similar to the dog/person relationship.

"It's like Snow White and Toby, because Toby can't speak!"'

"Toby?"

"You know, one of the seven dwarfs, Toby?"

"You mean Dopey."

"Yes, Dopey!"

And finally she mused on the fact that she loves both my father and Linda's dogs Mouse and William, but loves Mouse better because she has a cuter name.
